50 Lessons I've Learned as an Entrepreneur →
This showed up in the Times this week. I can’t really disagree with anything Brian Cauble has to say. The most significant and counter-intuitive lesson is that you need to fire bad clients. I still have trouble turning down work, but some people are terrible time sucks, who will never pay you enough to make it worth your while. Better to learn that sooner, rather than later.
